Woe of youth!

Child Labour has always been identified as a major issue in Bangladesh. Moreover, most of the developing countries are undergoing the same crisis more or loss.

In Bangladesh, you will find underaged children are being employed in various sectors due to low wages. However, children also can not help but involve into these kind of works because of extreme poverty. Whatever amount they earn they feel it is better than starving.

Having said that, in recent years Bangladeshi government as well the the citizens are addressing the crisis more sincerely than ever. Primary Education has been made mandatory and most importantly free, therefore, children now can receive basic education. A lot of children can be seen going to school and doing other works as “part- time” to support their family. This change has been tremendously impactful whereas children enjoy going to school and they do not need to pay money for their education.

This process will take time to eradicate Child Labour completely. Yet, we seem to be walking of the correct path.

I hope, some day in this world, Child Labour would never exist and every child will go to school whereas they will be able to invest their time solely on their education and learning.
