The Time’s game!
Photography has endowed me with many astounding moments so far where every time I have felt so special being able to live those moments.
These photographs are clicked in 2021 and 2023 respectively where I met the elderly woman at the same place, Kolkata.
On thie first occasion I found her active , agile since she was chopping veggies as well as she was grumpy for unknown reasons shouting at people around I asked her to click a photo which was an outright refusal from her. Then I told her why I was clicking photographs then she finally agreed. Clearly she was not happy however she was such a character that I could not help myself capturing her.
Two years later, I found her at the same spot. This time she was quite, tired and a distinct impact of age was displayed on her face. I went to her showed that picture, surprisingly enough she was delighted to see that photo and for a moment I felt she tripped back to her past and immediately came back to reality. I asked for another photograph, this time she was more subtle and soft with her voice and words. I kinda told her to smile however it seemed like she could not rather gave a smile with lots of remorse or resentment and penance which I observed in her innocent eyes.
